Looks awesome! Hope the movies good though
Just know if any of you attempt to use Training Ground and have the AI set to Veteran, you'll see some of the most BS aiming ever. Aimbot doesn't even begin to describe how the AI pulls crap off haha.
They're still beatable however, you just have to be extremely cautious when playing against them.
There are also two #6s in that list. I'm sure they'll catch it though. #6 is actually very good advice, of which I should use more often lol, bu...
Exactly what I said a few comments higher! It's far more disrespect to make a crappy movie based on a property then to not play/read the source material.
He says that, yet I'd say making crappy movies based on a source material is even more disrespectful.
Let's just put it this way:
Didn't play the games Prince of Persia > Did play the games Resident Evil: Afterlife
Don't get me wrong though, if you're basing a creation on certain things, you have to do your research. Of course most of the time it's simply about the name and not keeping the series' integrity.
That's why I get my multiplayer games on 360. Cause only a couple of my friends have PS3s.
Honestly though, doesn't matter to me, as long as I get to play it and have fun, I couldn't care less which system played host to the game.
Good list, but they failed to include Demon's Souls. That game is scary, but not from horror tactics, but from atmosphere, audio/visuals etc. Only game that I have had a complete sense of dread from (from enemies, or being invaded etc.)
Dead Space is perfect for that list, great game and scary as hell!
Of course that's all IMO, feel free to agree or disagree with it.
I wonder that too. Granted, I love MW2 so I'm sure that Black Ops will be at least just as good, which is fine with me. However, I am happy by a couple of decisions that Treyarch has made (Commando gone, Extreme Conditioning is back, no quickscoping etc.)
Can't wait for it. Luckily I've got Fallout: New Vegas and Valkyria Chronicles to keep me occupied until November 9th!
I too love FFXII (and think FFXIII is quite good, but the worst of the series' main releases.)
Actually, many times I've almost called FFXII my favorite, but it's so hard because I honestly love them all (aside from FFI and FFII, those were a bit too archaic for my liking,) and can't wait for more. I hope FFvXIII is as good as it looks!
Did you happen to mean FFXIII though, and not FFXII?
How about the FFXIII team stops talking and start working on the next game! FFXIII's development took far too long for it to not even be the same quality as previous iterations of the series.
If they'd stop talking BS about what it's fanbase wants and just make it, then they may eventually return to their former glory.
I completely agree. Reverse Wind Roll > Reverse Wind Dodge.
That's one thing I truly missed from NG. The combat was overall better in NGII/S2.
Also, I missed the RPG-ish elements of the game (the wrist bands/accessories etc.) Seems they took out alot of the stuff from the first and if not simplified it to ridiculous levels. I also miss the puzzles from Ninja Gaiden. It was just about as straight-forward as an action game can get, and I didn't reall...
I feel he and the team have proven themselves. Sigma 2 was a significant improvement over Ninja Gaiden 2 IMO.
Extra characters, more chapters, more weapons, online co-op and better overall visuals. Everyone (when referring to Hayashi) complains about the toned down gore, but it didn't bother me in the least. Sure I could've done without the whole Purple Mist thing, but it still didn't bother me.
Also, they've proved that they can still make qu...
As long as the gameplay delivers (which it consistently has) I'll happy. Ninja Gaiden is still my favorite Action game ever, and I can only hope that the new one will be just as fun. NG's combat is still the undisputed king of Action game combat IMO.
Also, am I the only person who feels Ninja's loose their bad@$$ness without their mask? I'd hate for them to do that to Ryu, cause that's what the teaser image is sort of suggesting. Regardless though it'...
I know (hence why I said maybe it's my own fault,) however, I think stuff as important or significant as that would be withheld because the sequel doesn't really concern the same characters or anything.
I'm watching the review so I can see how good the game is and what has changed since the last iteration. I watch as many reviews as possible for any game I'm interested in. Haven't come across a spoiler like that before though.
Oh well, too...
Holy Crap, unnecessary Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) Spoiler. Thanks IGN, now I know what happens to the Princess...when I didn't want to. I'm on Chapter 9 of VC and didn't at all expect something like that.
Maybe it's my own fault...or maybe they should try to avoid spoilers of previous games?
Me either, I've been waiting for quite some time for this one.
My PSP is going to be used far more then it ever has this fall lol.
Definitely, and it's about f'ing time.
Ace Combat 6 was pretty meh IMO, hope this one is much better. Finally PS3 owners get an Ace Combat game as well. That's the system I'll likely get this game on (if it's good that is.)
Yeah she is, a bit dis-proportioned and it's too odd to say she's even remotely hot (for a vg character anyways.)
Of course IMO that is.
I don't think either of you guys realize how simple and easy it is to take out air support.
It takes teamwork, but that's precisely how it should work. I have a class dedicated to taking out air support. Also, if you don't like air support, play the Bare Bones mode. It takes away all killstreak rewards.
Also while I don't think the Nuke or EMP are necessary the AC-130 and Chopper Gunner killstreaks I'm fine with. I get them regularly and i...
I think they should've put Maxi (Soul Calibur) on that list as well. He may look like a hybrid Elvis Presley/Bruce Lee, but his attitude and style are Bruce Lee all the way. Well IMO. anyways.
"It wasn't luck it was obvious cheating" or you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.
Killstreak rewards carry over in S&D.
